美中下一代教育基金会隆重推出明日之光种子基金

为鼓励会员主动应对社区面临的各种问题，在实践中培养领导能力和团队精神，美中下一代教育基金会（NAV）董事会决定设立明日之光种子基金。该基金为由青少年组织且惠及社区的项目提供最高 $250 的资助。本项目仅对NAV会员开放，自由组队且每个团队每年限获一次。

申请人需提交详细的项目描述及预算信息；若获资助，还须在截止日期前提交项目报告。

申请资格

- 项目负责人必须具备NAV会员资格，并且至少六年级

- 一个团队至少由3人组成，其中至少3位成员为NAV会员

- 每位会员每年仅限参与一个项目的申请

评选标准

我们将优先考虑符合以下条件的提案：

- 惠及民众与社区

- 具有广泛影响力

- 参与学生人数较多

- 预期成果可量化

- 提案撰写清晰，并包含关于资金使用情况的详细预算信息

重要日期

申请截止日期：提案须于2026年8月31日前提交

资金发放日期：2026年9月30日前 (美中下一代年度颁奖典礼)

项目完成及报告提交截止日期：2027年5月31日

Shine-A-Light Seed Grant call for proposal

To encourage student members to take initiative inaddressing various issues that face our community, and develop leadershipskills in the real world, the North America Volunteer (NAV) board has decidedto launch the Shine-A-Light Seed Grant. It provides up to $250 for each projectorganized by youth and benefits our community. It is available to NAV members.Students are encouraged to organize their own team, and each team is limited toone award per year.

Applicants are required to provide detailed projectdescription, budget information, and if awarded, the project report bydeadline.

Eligibility

1.     The project leader must have NAV membership,must be 6th grade or older.

2.     A team should have at least 3 members, at least3 of them with NAV membership.

3.     A team can only be involved in one project peryear.

Selection Criteria

Preferred consideration will be given to those proposalsthat

- benefit people and community

- have broader impact

- involve more students

- have measurable outcomes

- are clearly written with detailed budget information abouthow the money will be spent

Important Dates

Application deadline: proposal needs to be submitted by 8/31/2026.

Grant will be awarded by September 2026 at NAV’s annualaward ceremony.

Project completion and report deadline: 5/31/2027.
