How two Furkids volunteers reminded us why      Peachypuff was born

When I was little, my mom would often take me to local markets to browse and play. Over the years, I visited many different markets—but for some reason, the Johns Creek International Festival remained the one place still vividly etched in my memory.
On May 2, 2026, I returned.
But this time, I wasn't there as a customer.
I was a vendor.

🌧️ A Nervous Start
That morning, the weather forecast predicted heavy rain. I silently prayed the skies would clear so we could welcome plenty of customers.
Thankfully, my prayers were answered.
After a brief, light drizzle early in the morning, the sky turned bright and clear. Filled with excitement, our PeachyPuff team arrived at 8:30 AM and began setting up our booth.
With the help of our parents (and plenty of past experience), the setup went smoothly. By 10:30 AM, everything was organized and ready. The market wasn't scheduled to officially open until 12:00 PM, so my friends and I took a moment to relax and chat.
Then… someone walked into our tent.

💬 The First Visitor
Bursting with excitement, I blurted out, "Welcome!"
It was a kind-looking elderly gentleman. Smiling warmly, he said:
"I saw the display sign outside your tent, so I made a point of coming in specifically to say thank you to all of you."
I was puzzled. "Thank us?"
"Yes! Thank you for making a donation to Furkids! I'm a volunteer there. When I learned that you had donated your proceeds to us, I was truly deeply moved."
He didn't buy a single thing.
But his words gave us something money can't buy.

🐶 Then It Happened Again
The market officially opened, and things became hectic. We introduced our products, explained our materials, and shared how we customize orders. Everyone was fully immersed in their work.
After a while, we finally found a brief moment to catch our breath.
That's when an elderly woman walked in… leading a cute little dog.
She began telling us stories about her beloved pet. Being dog lovers ourselves, we leaned in to gently stroke the little dog while listening intently.
Then she said:
"This is Dory. She comes from Furkids."
Our jaws dropped.
"Did you say she comes from Furkids?"
"Yes. I adopted her during the pandemic. She's seven years old now. I saw your announcement and learned that you donated funds to Furkids. So I made a special trip here with Dory just to thank you in person."
We could hardly believe our ears.
This was the second group of people who had gone out of their way to find us—just to say thank you.
We asked, "Could we take a photo with Dory?"
She smiled and nodded.
As we gently stroked Dory and snapped a few photos, I felt something I had never experienced before: gratitude, fulfillment, and pure joy, all wrapped into one.
My eyes began to mist over.
But I took a deep breath. We still had work to do.

📊 The Numbers
Six hours later, the market closed.
We packed everything up, feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement. After carefully tallying our sales, we discovered something incredible:
We sold over 100 products.
Enough not only to cover all our operating expenses—but even to leave us with a surplus.
Everyone erupted in cheers.

💡 The Realization
It wasn't until that moment that I finally found time to sit down and reflect.
Why, exactly, did we set out to create PeachyPuff in the first place?
Our mission was, and remains: to help more people and animals.
At one point, I believed the only way to fulfill this mission was to sell more products and generate higher profits.
Was I right?
To a certain extent, yes—but that was by no means the whole story.
I finally came to realize that the true cornerstone of this enterprise lies in helping others. Its true significance is not measured in monetary terms, but rather in earning recognition, providing support, and realizing the true value of life itself.
After all, money is, at best, merely one way of reflecting that recognition.

🙏 A Heartfelt Thank You
The venue was bustling with activity. Countless enthusiastic friends flocked to our booth—eager to browse and purchase our products.
Every single customer offered us tremendous support.
So from the bottom of our hearts:
Thank you.
Thank you to everyone who visited us in person at the Johns Creek International Festival. Thank you to the two Furkids volunteers who reminded us why we started this journey. And thank you to Dory—for the snuggles, the photos, and the tears.
Moving forward, we will continue to strive tirelessly to work hand-in-hand with our community—creating an impact that is both positive and profound.
We can't wait to see you at our next market.

With love and squish,
