Throughout 2025, the First Step team carried out volunteer activities consistently across the year, focusing on community service, environmental protection, and team development.

The year began in February with community trash cleanup activities, marking the start of First Step’s 2025 volunteer efforts. During the spring and summer, team members actively participated in multiple cleanup events, including AMMS cleanups, Chattahoochee River sweeps, Earth Day environmental activities, and shoreline cleanups at Lanier Park Beach. Over the summer, the team continued to stay engaged with additional trash pickup events. Even when turnout was limited for certain activities, members remained committed and completed the work, demonstrating strong responsibility and dedication.

Beyond hands-on service, the team also focused on leadership and organization. Members attended annual leadership meetings, team leader meetings, assisted with meeting setup, and supported recognition events such as the Shine A Light Award ceremony. These experiences strengthened coordination within the team and provided valuable insight into planning and managing volunteer programs.

Looking back on 2025, the First Step team made steady progress in community service, environmental action, and internal collaboration. Moving into 2026, the team plans to continue organizing holiday cleanups, community environmental projects, and large-scale river sweeps, and warmly welcomes more members and friends to join and make a greater impact together.

First Step 团队 2025 年的义工活动贯穿全年，从年初的社区环境清理到年末的志愿规划与总结，团队始终围绕“服务社区、保护环境、培养责任感”的目标持续开展活动。

2025 年 2 月，团队以社区垃圾清理活动拉开全年义工工作的序幕。随后在春季与夏季，成员们积极参与了多次垃圾清理、河岸清扫以及校园和社区环境维护活动，包括 AMMS 清理活动、Chattahoochee 河道清扫、Earth Day 环保行动以及 Lanier Park Beach 的湖岸清理。在 7 月暑期期间，团队继续保持活跃，组织并参与了多次垃圾清理活动，即使在部分活动参与人数较少的情况下，成员们依然坚持完成任务，体现了高度的责任感与团队精神。

除了一线义工服务外，2025 年团队也注重组织与领导层面的建设。成员参与了年度领导力会议、团队负责人会议和会议筹备工作，并协助完成 Sun Light Award 表彰活动。这些经历不仅提升了团队协作效率，也帮助成员更深入地理解义工活动背后的组织与规划过程。

回顾 2025 年，First Step 团队在社区服务、环境保护和团队建设方面都取得了扎实的进展。展望 2026 年，团队计划继续开展节假日垃圾清理、社区环保活动以及大型河道清扫项目，期待更多成员与朋友加入，让义工活动产生更广泛的影响。
